Backup internet connection outage

After completing our final investigation, Charter Spectrum experienced a service outage resulting in a total downtime of over two hours. We have confirmed that connectivity has been restored on our FortiGate management dashboard.

Issue Resolved, Department Monitoring | 11:29am Central - The FortiGate appliance at 53W53 in New York reports that the Charter Spectrum internet connection is back online at this time. The Technology Services Department will monitor the connection, and will conduct a complete investigation of the outage within twelve hours.

Investigating | 09:30am Central - The Technology Services Department continues to investigate the issue affecting the backup internet connection at 53W53. After checking for service outages with Charter Spectrum, the Technology Services Department was informed that a service outage is currently occuring with services expected to be restored by 12:00pm Central today. The Atelic Technology Services Department has been able to validate this report and are continuing to investigate. As Charter Spectrum provides the backup internet service to the property, no disruption of services is expected.
