After completing our final investigation, Comcast Xfinity experienced a gateway update resulting in a total downtime of three minutes. We have confirmed that connectivity has been restored on our FortiGate management dashboard.
Issue Resolved, Department Monitoring | 02/07 04:55am Central - Prior to starting our investigation, the FortiGate appliances at Tiehack in Aspen report that the Comcast Xfinity internet connection is back online at this time. The Technology Services Department will monitor the connection, and will conduct a complete investigation of the outage within twelve hours.
Report Received | 02/07 04:52am Central - We are investigating a potential issue that might affect the uptime of one our of services. The FortiGate appliance at Tiehack in Aspen reports that the Comcast Xfinity internet connection is offline at this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. The Technology Services Department will investigate this report shortly and will update this incident post once we have more information. Although Comcast Xfinity provides primary internet service to the property, Starlink provides the backup internet service to the property and therefore no disruption of services is expected.
